A STONE’S THROW AWAY

My Masterproject at Design Academy Eindhoven is the film essay ‘A Stone’s Throw Away’. It deals with the news representation of the Gaza Strip border protests on 14 May 2018, the day the US embassy moved from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem. The video installation takes a human scale and deconstructs performative signifiers of one single image taken on 14 May 2018. It shows a progression from an image of everyday life in Gaza to a weaponised image extracted from newsreports. Find one part of the film below.
